Meridian

End User Licence Agreement

Last updated 25 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-25.2 · Surf Platforms Inc.

This End User Licence Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and Surf Platforms Inc. (“Surf Platforms”, “we”) and governs the Meridian software: the web application, scripts, styles, map renderer, shaders, workers and other code the Service delivers to your browser or device, any application programming interface we make available, and their updates (the “Software”). It forms part of the Terms of Service, and terms defined there have the same meaning here. By accepting the Terms you accept this EULA.

01Licence

Subject to this EULA and the Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to run the Software in a supported web browser solely to access and use the Service for the purposes the Terms permit. The Software is licensed, not sold.

02Restrictions

Except as the law expressly permits despite this limitation, you may not, and may not help anyone else to:

  • copy, modify, translate or create derivative works of the Software;
  • decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to derive its source code, models, data structures or algorithms, except for good-faith security research under the Acceptable Use Policy;
  • rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute or host the Software for others, or use it to provide a service bureau or competing product;
  • access the Software or the Service by automated means, including bots, scrapers, crawlers, headless browsers or scripts, or through any interface other than the one we provide, without our written permission;
  • remove, alter or obscure any proprietary notice, attribution or licence notice, including those of source publishers and map data providers;
  • circumvent or interfere with any security, access level, rate limit, allowance or other technical limitation; or
  • use the Software in violation of the Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or any law, including export-control and sanctions law.

03Open-source components

The Software includes components licensed under open-source licences. Those licences govern those components, and nothing in this EULA limits rights they grant you or imposes restrictions they forbid. Notices for these components are available on request at legal@surfplatforms.com.

04Ownership

The Software and all intellectual-property rights in it belong to Surf Platforms or its licensors. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Source material displayed through the Software belongs to its owners, as the Terms describe.

05Updates

The Software is delivered each time you load the Service and may be updated, changed or withdrawn at any time without notice. Updates are governed by this EULA unless they come with different terms. We have no obligation to provide any update, support or maintenance.

06Termination

This EULA continues until your account is closed or your access to the Service ends. Your licence ends automatically if you breach this EULA or the Terms. When it ends you must stop using the Software. Sections 2, 4 and 7 to 9 survive.

07Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, as set out in section 14 of the Terms. Our liability in connection with the Software is subject to section 16 of the Terms, and the cap stated there is a single cap across the Terms and this EULA, not an additional one.

08Export and government use

You will comply with all export-control and sanctions laws that apply to the Software. The Software is “commercial computer software” and its documentation is “commercial computer software documentation”; U.S. government end users acquire only the rights granted in this EULA, consistent with FAR 12.212 and DFARS 227.7202.

09Governing law, disputes and general terms

Sections 18 to 23 (informal resolution, arbitration, class action waiver, time limit on claims, governing law and California notice) and section 27 (general) of the Terms apply to this EULA as if set out here. Questions about this EULA: legal@surfplatforms.com.
